I received the tape and tried to install it in the bathtub. I'm not sure what's going on with this tape. The adhesive is oozing out from the side, which sticks to everything that it touches. I unwrapped it and put the role on a counterpoint; the counter became a mess instantly. The photo shows a piece of paper towel (arrow) that fell on it by mistake, which I unsuccessfully tried to remove. I went ahead and installed one small piece (about a foot long) on the bathtub. The glue coming out from underneath the strip then made the floor around sticky. I had to use solvent (citrus cleaner) and my own finger to wipe away excess glue. Simply put, this product has way too much adhesive to be usable. I stopped the work after the first strip. I sent an email to the vendor with a picture (twice) without getting a response. Perhaps the glue is a known problem (there appears to be other customers who experienced the same issue) and the vendor doesn't want to deal with it.I am giving it 3 stars (rather than 1 star) because the strip that was put in the bathtub IS holding up (after about a week), although it took some effort to apply it. So in a way, excess glue may be a tradeoff between convenience of use and the product longevity.
