I looked and read many reviews on several lamps before deciding to try the Sutefoto P80 and I'm glad I did. Free Bowen mount. I am happy to report that this is not a problem with sutephoto. Advantages Good build quality: 1. Fixed Bowens mount. This was a bit of an issue initially as it was too tight, but after a few modifier changes the binding loosened just enough to ensure a good fit. Quiet fan with good ventilation.3. Strong support for light modifiers. The L-shaped mount made me wonder if it could handle a heavy modifier without flexing or sagging. I am happy to say that it is very strong and well made.4. Brightness adjustment from 100% to 1%5. 2.4G wireless remote control, supports 6 groups of 12 channels to connect and sync multiple lights. and comes with AAA.6 batteries. Long power cord with hanging cord7. Good case 8. 5 lighting effects modes. TV, flash, burnt out bulb, fireworks or paparazzi and flashing mode.9. Supports 15V DC input, so you can use NP battery plates like NP-F970/NP-F750/NP-F550. Personally, I don't know if I'll be using any effects, but it's nice to know that they do. Cons: 1. The Bowen mount was very tight but after a little use it became much easier to work with. And still nice and cozy.2. My biggest complaint is the remote, mine turns itself off after a few minutes of inactivity which annoys me because you have to wait for it to reconnect to the light before you can change any settings with it. I also think you should be able to put the light to sleep with the remote and then wake it up again with the remote. I think that's what the power button should have been for. Just my opinion.
