This product is very, very effective. The bottom line is that you have to follow the instructions. I use it on a custom wool rug when my cats vomit. I've never had to use it for defecating (urine or feces) as my cats don't do it outside of boxes. Sweep up the solids, spray generously (do not soak), then use heavy paper towels to soak up the stain. Works after a few paper towel changes. Do not combine with other cleaning agents. This has worked for me every time for the past 2 years that I've used it.
