Review on 🔧 Upgraded TTR125 Carburetor for Yamaha TTR 125 - 2000-2007 Carb Carborator Fitment for Yamaha TTR125 TTR125E TTR125L TTR125LE by Mike Slippy

I don't normally write reviews but I was impressed enough to write a review on this carburetor. I bought it to replace the VM44 knock that came with the 03 TTR125LE which I took as a play bike. When I got it, the bike had problems with sticking and stalling, and I was never able to get the VM44 to work properly. Yamaha wanted more for replacing the original carburetor than I paid for the bike so I decided to give this one a try. Man I'm glad I did! The carburetor comes factory preset with the air and fuel screw set at 3 turns, which is in the middle of the factory recommended range. I also set the idle screw to factory defaults. The adjustment screws are also color coded for easy fine tuning. I doubt they'll remain visible after the carb has been on the bike for a while, but it's nice. Installation took no more than 20 minutes and the bike started right away. I left the air fuel and idle at factory settings and the bike runs near perfect. Can't comment on durability but it appears to be well made (shaping and finish is much better than another fake carb I've removed) so I don't expect any issues. Overall I'm happy with this purchase and can say that this is one of the few times I feel like I got more than I paid for. One final note: this carburetor has an overflow. I'm not sure why people say it isn't.
