Very happy with my king size bohemian floral quilt. I am a former antique dealer and have bought and sold many vintage and beautiful quilts in the past. This quilt would fit into my collection of vintage quilts in many ways: - soft muted colors - several pieces sewn together (patchwork) at the top, one-piece fabric with a printed pattern on the inside. - average weight. After all, it's a blanket, not a blanket. In the past, light summer duvets had no cotton at all and consisted only of two layers of fabric sewn together. - hemmed edges - all cotton (including batting) - traditional design New blankets of this quality can cost $300 (Martha Stewart). This quilt combines the fun of vintage design with the affordability and functionality of new materials (washable, oversized, matching covers).
