Review on 2 Pack of OXO Good Grips Bag Clips by Angela Simmons

These clips are way better than I expected or hoped for! Good durable materials. (Unlike other cheap flimsy plastics that bend or warp and don't play well with the crappy flimsy springs that have let me down in the past.) They're strong and durable! Nice thick plastic clips with an added tapered insert perfect for a great grip! The insert isn't a hard, slippery plastic, but it almost feels pliable, which confuses me a bit as it actually seems to stick to itself when I open and close it a few times, almost like magnets! (Although I don't think that's really the case.) That excellent grip is backed by a good, strong quality spring. Strong, but not so strong that it's difficult to compress. The small blue donut-like rings set into the handle feel like the material used to insert the clip, which gives your fingers some support when squeezing the strong spring. Nice gesture! Take some shots: from above so you can see a good spring configuration. Head so that you can see the donut insert with the material to be gripped. Below so you can see how well the two sides meet and connect. On the side you'll see a clever tapered blue handle insert that gives the clip an added bonus to the flat surface of the clip to keep your bag locked in the best possible way. (Whatever designer designed and embedded this clip, OXO needs a raise!) I hope Revain will let me upload the video I made of these great clips in action too! I have a 6.6 lb bag of prescription dry cat food which is a very thick good quality bag with a shiny and slippery surface. The bag's thick material is great for long-term storage of such a large amount of dry food, but the zipper itself didn't work and detached from the bag. I rolled this bag up 4 times! I clamped it down with an OXO clamp and lifted the bag by just holding one of the handles with no problem! Weighed the bag as I had already lined it up a bit and it weighed just under 6lbs (5.95lbs). Hmmmm after waiting over 10 minutes for my 51 second video to load from my Fire Hd8 Kindle it still buffers so I guess it won't work. Maybe too long? So instead I'm uploading photos showing how thick the 4 folds are. Then a shot of a bag being picked up by just one handle. To show the actual lifting I placed a towel (attached with smaller OXO clips) on the back behind the pocket. As the shadow made it difficult to see that it had been taken I placed my empty honey oil container underneath and illuminated the bag with my newly purchased Magicfly 10x 5x, 1x Revain LED Travel Makeup Mirror which my love just gave it me yesterday! A little praise for his thoughtfulness! Who would have thought it would come in handy today! (No Flash on Kindle!) I was curious to see how long the clip would last on this £6 pocket. I raised it for 20 seconds. Before MY HAND failed! 😆 I'm sure the clip wouldn't be far behind as the bag is heavy and shiny/slick so it's only a matter of time before these factors take over. Besides, it's beyond reputation anyway! Hope my review helps. I was shopping for pans and saw Revane asking me how I liked my purchase of OXO Clips so I decided to answer. I was not paid for this review and I did not receive the product for free. I really wish I could buy more than 2 and am adding it to my cart now! It's already a staple on my kitchen/cooking wish list. By the way. Medium sized magnetic clips and small teen magnetic clips are good too!
