This has a good amount of padding and seems like it would protect the tablet very well. I got it for my son to carry his tablet back and forth to school and childcare. He's in second grade so I was concerned it might get broken in his backpack. It fits the 10-in Android tablet he has perfectly along with a wireless keyboard and mouse and some cables. Overall I'm pleased with this. I'm not able to state whether or not it's waterproof because I've not tested it but that was a reason for purchasing it. I was worried a bottle of water might spill in his backpack or something.Update: I bought a 2nd one for my other son's tablet. Great case that is holding up well. Fits 10.1"tablet, flat BT keyboard and BT mouse and power cables.
