Received this cover today and installed it immediately. My 50 pound golden retriever was able to ride it for about 30 minutes. When we stopped at the pet shop I left it in the car for 30m as it was cold and rainy. I came back and saw that the lid was torn in 3 places. Three clips were broken. The fourth (around the rear seat headrest) was intact but detached. At first I was mad at the dog for destroying it. But when I tried to fix the remaining clip, it broke too. Regardless of my dog's behavior, I expected this cover to be strong enough to withstand the dog's movements. I wanted this cover to keep my back seat clean and also to keep the dog from trying to jump on the passenger seat when I'm driving. The design of this coating is not permanent. The clips should not come loose on first use if the dog is as little as 50 pounds. I could blame the dog for this, but I've seen for myself how weak the clips are. Instead, you just had to take a large fleece blanket and cover the back seat with it.
