Review on Syrox Black Mini Micro SD Card Reader - Fast and Convenient Data Transfer, Portable and Plug-and-Play Friendly by Charles Alvey

I've had a new flash drive (a real silicone flash drive with a built-in flash drive) for a long time, but I was fed up full of people pulling it out and saying "wow, that's really cool". It's annoying at best, at worst I end up with corrupted files, so I was looking for a more discreet way to carry my briefcase full of documents. I tried the San-Disk Cruzer fit, which has worked well for a few years, but is outdated, fairly slow, and inflexible (only works in USB). I chose a 256GB Samsung micro SD card and this tiny reader. The micro SD card format is fast and flexible (meaning I can use it on devices other than a computer with a USB slot, and when used with a laptop this card reader is slightly smaller than the Cruzer-Fit). I've tried using a micro SD card with half height SD card adapters sold online that fit new thin laptops, but these connectors are poorly made and the thin gold finger contacts quickly bind and fail completely. This little micro SD card reader absolutely fits the bill. While not invisible (especially with the bright blue LED), it's very small, protruding about 5mm over the edge of the laptop. It also has a square profile so it's less likely to snag on laptop cases or bags. Finally, it's difficult to plug into a USB socket, which means you'll want to remove it. The reader and micro SD card cannot be accidentally ejected to solve my original problem. Absolute win - I recommend this product if you have similar needs and would definitely buy again and at this price I'm very happy.
