Review on 🔦 Vintage Essex Cage Light Fixture: SYLVANIA Semi-Flush Mount with Dimmable LED Bulb Included (75515) by Jill Ramos

I recently bought a house on the river that was built in the 1930's. In the 1980's it was fitted with brass/glass fixtures that did not match the old woodwork and other original decorations. This light was easy to install and looked great in the attic. The 'cage' casts a beautiful pattern of light on the ceiling and the style of the glass and sown lamp goes a long way towards creating a sense of authentic light from the period. Although not many of our visitors will notice (probably none), the cage is held in place by Phillips head screws, so for a true art conservator this is an outdated fixture (vintage will have pan head screws). I didn't really care about that detail, so I'm happy with our new attic light!
