Cheap = bad quality
Ok I bought this set 3 times. Twice for a household dryer and one for my shop. The first purchase was in March 2019 which I replaced today. It lasted almost a year to the day. You can see in the photos that the heating element has burned out. When I opened up the dryer and took it apart I was shocked it looked so bad. The factory served for almost 20 years. This. 1 year. So the quality is pretty bad. Let's just assume that you need to replace them once a year. This makes me a little nervous as it can be a fire hazard. But with 4 thermal protectors I have it a little easier. But if you have extra money, take the factory.
