Review on Sony MDRX10/RED Simon Cowell X Headphones: Immersive Audio Experience with Powerful 50mm Diaphragms by Michael Barrett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You won't get much more for your money! These headphones work!

I'll start by saying that I love music, but I'm not a specialist. However, I bought them about a year ago along with a Bravo Audio V2 Class A 12AU7 tube multi-hybrid headphone amp and a BEHRINGER U-CONTROL UCA222 so I could hear from my PC in the best possible quality. I will also note that I am a BIG BASS JUNK which is why I chose these headphones over others. It was the first and only time I've spent what I consider an investment in something really high quality. I used to always try to hold my headphones to my head (to hear more details) and spend hours somehow hacking to turn the volume up (PC users). You don't get all that here. I can spin these babies with no distortion (remember I use an amp with them so my ability to do this is much higher). It's been a year of bliss loving bass! Worth the investment! I'll leave the more technical details to other reviews who know more than me. But the sound quality is really fantastic (I also note that I'm the daughter of a hardcore musician, so not quite up to speed). dark). My husband and I even did blind sound tests with different quality of music (of the same song). let's say, for example, YouTube vs. MP3 vs. FLAC. YouTube and MP3 are definitely different. MP3 vs FLAC was a bit more difficult, but we could always tell the difference here (although sometimes our guesses were wrong). If you love bass and are looking for something high-quality in a decent price range, then look no further. These bad boys are for the dollar!
