If you like good deep bass

I've had XB800 headphones which I've used for a couple of years and done some electrical projects with, but they're essentially the same headphones just in a different color scheme. detachable cable. I think they are also offered in different regional markets as they seem to be big in India. Bass on them doesn't disappoint. It's super deep. Combined with the right headphone amp and EQ settings, these things make your cheeks vibrate. A good example song is "Lady GaGa - Jewels n' Drugs". It's a…

Great job Sony! for in-ear headphones

These headphones look classy and very elegant. The soundproofing is excellent and the ear cushions are softer than my pillow. I mostly listen to bass heavy music and it's just a joy. I can feel the bass pounding in my head. They sound great with most music genres and I love the way they look when you put them on (there is no gap, they look like they are shaped to fit your head). GREAT WORK SONY. The only thing I don't like is how unreliable they are compared to some of my V-MODA headphones. I…

Rumble in the Jungle

REAL So. Before the purchase I had the following headphones: 1) Sennheiser HD598; 2) audio device ATH-M40x; 3) Grado SR60e. I'm an aspiring music lover, and each set of cans has its own use - 598s for cinema, orchestra, etc.; My audio tech is for travel and my grados for rock, orchestration, vocals, etc. But all three lacked bass when listening to my favorite rap/hip. I have used the MDRX10 and they will have their own place in my headphone rotation. 50mm drivers really make a world of…

These are the best fun headphones! No studio headphones!

In short, if you're looking for FUN headphones for everyday listening - buy them! I'm a music lover. Since I mainly work with horns, strings and orchestral music, I need a very detailed sound. They are not! But this is my GO-TO for daily listening. I love wearing them because they immerse you in the music and of course the bass is powerful. It's that weird buzz you get at a gig when a deep bass slams into your head. And I wanted that! So I'm very happy. Studio monitors and studio headphones are

You won't get much more for your money! These headphones work!

I'll start by saying that I love music, but I'm not a specialist. However, I bought them about a year ago along with a Bravo Audio V2 Class A 12AU7 tube multi-hybrid headphone amp and a BEHRINGER U-CONTROL UCA222 so I could hear from my PC in the best possible quality. I will also note that I am a BIG BASS JUNK which is why I chose these headphones over others. It was the first and only time I've spent what I consider an investment in something really high quality. I used to always try to hold…

Good headphones that thump with bass.

I bought these because I listen to a lot of electronic music and wanted headphones with strong bass and low frequencies. These did not disappoint us. I think it's just a special version of MDX-XB800 or XB900s. I chose these from the 800s because I didn't care about the red and silver colors and this pair included a detachable crossbody strap and carrying case. Tried with and without additional headphone amplifier. Out of the box: The sound is very heavy at low frequencies. Great bass but the…
