I don't think anyone can turn down furniture assembly more than me. I'm a person who buys shoe racks that you assemble and end up having to take them apart because I don't assemble them properly. But this table? Less than 25 minutes from unpacking to standing. All I needed was help holding the top in place while I screwed in the knobs to keep it at the desired height. In general, for this price range, it is ideal! I've set this up as a makeshift office for when I visit my parents for an extended stay, but I would use it at home as well. Instructions are sparse although you are given all the tools you need.
