Not the strongest air purifier. Air is drawn in from below and filtered air exits at the top. You go very quietly. If you want something that does white noise, this isn't it. If you want a small room air purifier to improve air quality, this will work until you learn better. Be sure to purchase a USB charger or have a USB adapter handy to connect the cable. Otherwise the machine is unusable. It looks like the filter won't last very long. Maybe bad air? Maybe it works better than I think? I do not know. I think basically it's too small for the area I need it for. It's not terrible overall, but it's also not the best purchase I've ever made. I would look at other options if I buy again.
