Works great, but please read!

Works great with my LG_50LF6100 (2016) TV and 1985 Technics receiver. Comes with optical (TOSLINK) cable and power supply. I don't think other adapters will fit. Until it hisses and crackles. I had a problem that the provider fixed very quickly. (Yes, would buy it again.) The product is made in China, so the instructions are limited and written in poor English. PLEASE READ: 1. This audio converter only supports LPCM and PCM audio formats. You need to select optical output and PCM in your TV's sound settings. PLEASE remove the plastic caps from the ends of the optical cable (see attachment)3. PLEASE carefully insert the optical cable, IT IS INCLUDED IN ONE DIRECTION ONLY. DO NOT FORCE. Check the end of the cable after removing the plastic cover. Note the shape of the end of the cable and align it with the corresponding socket on the device. One side is square. One side has chamfers.4. The optical output on my TV is considered an "external speaker" so I adjust the volume on the receiver, not the TV. This converter itself does not have a volume control. Remember that the ends of optical cables are quite fragile. Dirt or scratches can prevent them from working, so don't mess with them.
