I had a 3 button key for my 2004 5 door Mazda 6 GT. It had a different ID and FCC number but commenters said it worked on their 04 Mazda 6 5dr so I bought it and when it arrived it worked great. I only had to do this once and the key was paired to the car. It's a bit annoying that the trunk release doesn't work for me, but then again, my original remote didn't come with a trunk release, so I'm guessing my car doesn't have one. Either way, great product at a great price.
