What you need to know: 1. You need to install the device behind a mirror.2. Most mirrors have a plastic base that connects to the base for leveling (whether manual or electric). To avoid the mirror cracking (they stick really well to the factory double backed foam sheet) or having a dent under the mirror (nearly 1/8 inch thick) you need to cut the arrow shaped base plate. in place without removing the required plastic caps or damaging the defrost heater on the back of the mirror glass. Once this is done the arrow needs to be secured in the arrow shaped hole with silicone glue or epoxy so the LEDs are firmly bonded to the mirror substrate and can be seen through it. Arrow LEDs are more likely to light up when there is a defrost heater on the back of the mirror.4. The cables are TOO short and need to add a few meters. If the turn wires are not located in the mirror housing from the factory, but in the door, then the door panel must be removed in order to connect it to the corresponding wire in the door harness. If the turn signal wires are not in the door, the wires must be long enough to pass through the mirror mount connector, base plate, and door harness, and reach under the dash or under the engine compartment where they can be connected to the turn signal wires. as you can see, this project is not for the faint of heart, especially when there are no instructions and (each car is individual).
