I have been in the coffee industry for over 10 years. I love it when a company builds a machine that lets me enjoy my favorite meals at home. What I liked: 1. Elegant design I like the black chrome; I'm not a bougie, but it definitely looks good in my fridge. Incidentally, it fits in the fridge and is therefore surprisingly compact. Valves and gauges are convenient to use.2. Frothy, delicious frosting For my first batch, I used single-source Ethiopian beans. I prefer African beans as they have a light floral aftertaste that pairs well with the typical freshness of iced coffee. The filling was initially very foamy, but the nitro bubbles dissipated leaving a perfectly foamy head. Wonderfully creamy mouthfeel.3. Simple Instructions There are a few steps you need to go through before you can enjoy some nitro-infused goodness, but the instructions are easy to follow.4. General. it is great. I personally find that we enjoy food more when we have an attitude towards it. As a coffee drinker, I enjoy being part of the process of creating unique flavors, textures and culinary experimentation. This GrowlerWerks product satisfies my itch in both the art and science of making some really damn good cold beer.
