The outer sleeve is not very strong and when my mom pulled the album out one corner was torn a little but I don't care as I plan on using mod glue to fix everything cover with a nicer print/design and this makes it more durable. It was larger than I expected, but it's my fault for not looking at the dimensions. The album appealed to the fact that it has both horizontal and vertical insertions. I gifted it to my mum who is elderly and loves pictures after I filled it with tons of photos - she loved it!
