Pretty good RGB lighting but design tricky to install

I wanted under cabinet lighting. The cabinets are quite low and there is a ledge under the bottom of the cabinet where I was able to hide the wiring. The cables connecting the hockey pucks are a fixed length and consist of 5 cable strips with RGB connectors on each end. They are attached to the lights in the hockey puck and need to be properly aligned. If you want to get rid of the slack in the wiring between the brackets, you'll have to solder or find a way to hide the excess material in the case itself. The power cord that attaches to the end lamp is quite long, but the power switch is very close to the end of the lamp, making it a problem to hide. Well that could probably be remedied fairly easily as the remote can be used to turn the light on and off as well as change the colour. Washers that contain light are poorly constructed. The space in the washer that the RGB cable runs through is on the body side of the washer and provides a very tight fit for the cable. Sorry I couldn't think of a better way to express the idea. You'll have to mess around with the wiring by adding washers to the bottom of the cabinet. It would be better to have sockets in each puck so you can position the light where you want first and then connect the wires. Because they are designed, installation requires planning. The 5-wire tape that represents the wiring between the lights is not easy to roll up or hide. And since it's quite wide, the holes you need to drill in the bottom of the closet to hide the excess in the closet have to be pretty big. I would love to be able to order shorter strips but I think making this possible would be a manufacturing and marketing nightmare. Perhaps a solution where the wire strip is a single piece with a clamp on the solution inside the washers and the ability to trim excess wire at the other end of the circuit would be a way to improve the design. If you can work around the aesthetics of the wiring issues, the lights themselves are very pretty. You're limited to 13 color options (12 RGB and white), but you can control the intensity - within certain limits. Much luck
