Bought 2 sets for TV stand/table. I was a little skeptical at first but once I installed it and turned it on, wow what a difference. Nice warm glow, just the right amount of atmosphere. The remote works flawlessly as the receiver is mounted high above and outside the case and the remote works without needing to be leveled. I would recommend extension cords that I see being sold. *UPDATED* Have been using these lights for almost 2 years now. Lightbulbs hurt my eyes when I accidentally look at them, which I always end up doing. So I hung a few sets on the backs of large pieces of furniture (like dressers and TVs) to provide mood lighting. They work well enough for this purpose. We use 6 of these to light up our wet bar ; Warm white is great for general viewing, while RGB is good for a brighter look. Installation is easy. We drilled holes in the top of the liquor cabinet and threaded the washer wires through the hole, then screwed the bracket to the top before installing the washer itself into the bracket. I wanted under cabinet lighting. The cabinets are quite low and there is a ledge under the bottom of the cabinet where I was able to hide the wiring. The cables connecting the hockey pucks are a fixed length and consist of 5 cable strips with RGB connectors on each end. They are attached to the lights in the hockey puck and need to be properly aligned.
