I needed a storm coat for my elder dog (Havanese mix, 15 years young rescue). She's still a strong girl but having some pain and stiffness in her hips and legs. Getting harnesses, sweaters and waterproof coats on were uncomfortable and she would have a hard time no matter how careful I would be. Then once outside, Velcro under her neck and chest would pop open on her, as well as on my young wiggly pup. I was looking for a new sweater and found one that she can step into and then I zip it up the back. Then she needed a storm coat to go over it and I found this one. Thank you Mihogi for this coat. This is great for my disabled old girl and my younger wiggly boy dog. I put a vest type harness over it and off we go. My elder dog still likes her walk in all kinds of weather, and though we go slower for her, she and the pup are nice and warm outside and stay dry in a light rain (they don't care). So I can keep both of my friends active and happy. Cheers!
