My second bathroom has no windows at all so it's pitch dark even during the day. That's why I bought this light because it's so dark all the time but especially at night. I thought I read enough reviews to trust this, but turns out I was wrong. I like the design, it's very beautiful if you buy it for that reason. This is a great little light, about 4 inches overall from top to bottom and the glossy lid is great, but not enough light to see enough in my bathroom, which is even very small. I put it on, it was a regular light, but the bulb is so tiny I can only see where it is. ...I don't see enough to use it at night. Everything else about it is great. I think I'll start looking for another flashlight again. It's a shame, because despite its size, it's a very attractive flashlight.
