I was initially skeptical about buying a Bladder which I thought was a glorified zip bag and that was after I climbed the mountain. apart from the well-known plastic taste in the mouth. It was my fault I was looking for something cheap so I wanted to throw this bubble down the side of the mountain. (This was after washing several times with soap, denture tabs, etc.). After reading reviews that it didn't taste like plastic right out of the box, I decided to bite the bullet and buy it, and I'm glad I did. After a quick wash, based on my previous experience with hydropacks in general, I was skeptical about testing and gladly wrong. It definitely didn't have a plastic taste and was like drinking from a regular water bottle. The bite valve is comfortable on the teeth and doesn't feel like you're trying to suck from a dry well, and it holds enough water. So if plastic isn't in any of your food groups and you like to stay hydrated while exploring what the world has to offer, then I recommend this hydration bladder. You won't be disappointed, believe the skeptic.
