Good toothpaste that does the job. The consistency of the paste is quite runny and will slip off the toothbrush if not cared for. Like all pet toothpastes, it does not foam because it is not intended to be rinsed out. I gave it four stars because: 1. The toothbrush is small and doesn't do its job very well. It's three sided. So if you want a good brushing session, your pet's teeth should line up perfectly along the guide. This means it is very difficult when you have a picky dog/cat who hates having their teeth brushed like I am. (because they like to squirm and fight). Large-headed toothbrushes work better when you have a picky animal in your hands. 2. Toothpaste isn't like enzyme. For those of you who don't know, enzyme toothpaste is usually preferable (especially if you have a difficult pet) as it means the toothpaste is still working after you've brushed your teeth by dissolving plaque and tartar. That way, even if you missed a few spots because your dog wants to stop brushing early, at least you know the toothpaste is still hard at work. Even if your pet doesn't mind if you take your time or pay attention to details, this toothpaste isn't for you. not that bad.
