The filter and pump built into the back are great and quiet. The current is strong so you may need to reduce the power if you have fish that don't like strong currents (this can easily be achieved by placing filter material in the outlet nozzle). White light is bright and strong enough for plants. . I thought the other color options were just a gimmick, but they were great for two reasons. 1. Using only one color (e.g. light blue or orange light) allows for a low light environment for fish that do not need bright light all the time. 2. The combination of white with color can highlight the color of your fish. I have chili rasboras (red fish) and the combination of white and red makes them really popular. The only downsides: - The pump nozzles are on the same side as the filling hole. When the current is strong, it can disperse food. But that's easy to fix, and the fish will understand. The size is a bit strange. If you're worried about the fish having enough space (like me) it may limit your ability to fish. But this is a nano aquarium, so consider this in any small aquarium you can buy.
