This is a cute little pan and has multiple uses. I've used it to cook onions on a hamburger grill and it worked fine for that. It could have been a little more as one of the burgers had a short onion on it. On my electric range there is not enough to cover the burner so the heat is wasted. The fact that it can go both on the stovetop and in the oven is a plus. It might be a good skillet for one person, but it won't work for more people.
