I had a problem with a gearbox certificate and a free scan at an auto parts store didn't show any gearbox, airbag or ABS codes. This complete system scanner can do it all. The MX808 paid for itself immediately by saving me a trip to the dealer. I diagnosed a defective clock spring on my 03 Silverado. The MX808 helped me locate a faulty ABS sensor and pressure control solenoid on my o5 Monte Carlo. Also works on my 2012 Accord but so far so good. It can be intimidating to use for a weekend mechanic, but if you only repair once you should be able to handle it. I also used Autel technical support which is very professional. There is also a nice feature that runs an online course and gives a description of your problem and a YouTube video.
