I have purchased this mug several times and the result is always the same, including this one; the seal between the base and the top fails after a few washes and the mug sucks a lot of water into the wall and into the foam insulation. It's with an eco dryer so I can't imagine how quickly it will fail once it's fully dried. You put the cup on the counter and return to the pool of water. If you buy it, hand wash the mug. The top is fine on the top rack.
