worth your money!

I've probably adjusted the SWR of hundreds of antennas over the year using the old method of checking each end of the range and making small adjustments to center the sink . I searched long and hard for the cheap $30 and $40 gauges and had so much bad luck with them that I considered buying something better. And it ended up being MUCH BETTER! The counter is very easy to use. You choose the correct output 2M and above or 2M and below and connect the antenna to the meter. Rotate one knob to select a band and the other to select a frequency within that band and the cross arrows indicate SWR and antenna impedance. Press the button and the meter will check the range by showing the slope on the small color screen. On the HF bands this is very handy to see how the SWR is on a large number of frequencies. Setting up the dual band and tri band VHF/UHF antennas on my Jeep was easy. The only thing missing was a USB port to upload screenshots of the SWR graphics.

Pros
  • CBs and Radios
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
