I have long straight fine hair so the hair clips tend to fall off easily but these hold up really well. One clip can hold all my hair. I've been using it for a week now and have no problems. The plastic is quite thick, the spring is stuck. Although the paint on the white clip was already scratched, it's no big deal. I love that the teeth are rinsed out when closed so they don't get stuck on my head and are comfortable to wear all day. There are many cheaper deals with more clips but I think you get what you pay for. It was worth it
