Review on Enhance Your Audio Experience with the Lenovo Yoga ANC Headphone Mica by Shanna Lopez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great as a headset

These headphones look great. The slim, lightweight design is a winner. They feel premium as soon as you pick them up. The headband and earcups are made from what Lenovo calls "silicone skin," which is very soft and feels like premium padded material with memory foam. The ear cushions are long enough to fit even the largest of heads comfortably. Bluetooth works well, there are no problems with the connection, there are no disconnections. They are great as a headset for calls, conferences or gaming. The microphone works surprisingly well, picking up voice clearly and doing an excellent job of filtering out background noise. I've tested them on calls alongside a running faucet, an air conditioner, and a washer/dryer. In all cases, the noise was barely audible to the interlocutor, and my voice was always clear. The physical mute slider and volume up/down buttons are conveniently placed. These are active noise-cancelling headphones, so expect some pressure on your ears, but that's not too bad. They're very comfortable compared to most other ANC headphones, but not as comfortable as some of the lighter non-ANC headphones. Unfortunately, ANC doesn't work as well as other over-ear headphones. ANC has two adjustable levels, but background noise is still audible at either level. The sound sounds good, not amazing. Maybe a bit bass-heavy, high frequencies could be clearer. Audiophiles will probably be disappointed, everyone else will probably think they sound good. Bottom line: if you like aesthetics and quality materials, ignore the fact that ANC is marginal and non-audiophile and you need something to phone with. , conference calls, work from home or gaming then this is a great buy. If you're looking for the perfect ANC or high-fidelity audio for music, you might need to look elsewhere.
