Great for heat shrink or solder joints
Bought after one of the techs at my company had one that he used to solder electrical connectors himself. I've found this to be a much better solution for terminating automotive wiring than crimp connectors and this heat gun makes the job easier. One star removed because the thickness of the metal used for the heat shield is slightly thinner and doesn't fit the end of the heat gun as snugly as I'd like, but it doesn't matter much. Would definitely buy again.
