The "manual" that came with this DVD player isn't very helpful, but I still managed to figure out how to play movies. I'm not an electronics dumbass, but I'm not an expert either. For things I'm not sure about, I can always try to look up the term on the internet to hopefully find an explanation. I charged the battery when I got it and it played two movies with no problem and then some more. I didn't notice if there was any indication of how much battery power was left. Picture and sound are very good. I love the swiveling screen! I put it on pause once and it was gone longer than I expected. When I came back the screensaver was activated. The remote control is small and I used it to adjust the volume but nothing else. I bought it when it was around $25 for a short time. Worth the money and very happy with my purchase!
