Review on πŸ”§ NuMax SFR2190 Lightweight Ergonomic Pneumatic Tool by Corey Krull

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Didn't want to be liked. But this is a great buy.

I have just finished framing a 3000 sq ft house using this nailer for everything from framing to paneling and siding. I bought this nail gun on a whim while looking for some other tools I needed for the job. I actually have a DeWalt and Hitachi nailer that has been on site the whole time. Both I and a few assistants were drawn to this weapon more than others. I figured if I buy this and don't add any oil I can see how long it really lasts. I've been using it at work for over 6 months now and haven't added a drop of oil since day one. I figured the o-rings would eventually fail, but I wanted to see how resilient this thing really is. I like that the depth is easy to adjust and that there is also a removable rubber foot. I used the gun without the rubber foot when framing and put it back on when framing. I was able to easily adjust the pressure and depth of the nail so I didn't blow through the foil. I still can't believe this thing costs less than $100 and works as well as it does now. I'm not usually easy on my tools. This weapon was dropped off the rafters multiple times as we framed the 14 foot vaulted ceiling in 2x10 increments.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
