Review on 🌟 Philips LED EyeComfort 558023 with Flicker-Free Technology by Gary Beard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

That's a long time ago. not incandescent, just as bright as what it replaces

Now that my old stock of BR30 halogen bulbs has run out I was afraid to buy the typically dim and ugly 600 liter LED options for the kitchen to install. Along with this, however, a new, quite bright version of the Philips 2700K BR30 appeared, which copes well with all tasks. Color is good although I'd say it's closer to 3000K at full power, they're quiet and don't flicker at any brightness, and the five bulbs are perfectly controlled until dark by my 20 year old dimmer. Wonderful. Next to a 65W BR30 halogen lamp they look very similar, only the LED is slightly brighter. But the bottom line is it's just wonderful to have the work light I need that's also nice on the eye. We have recessed boxes in the 8ft ceiling and they're not too bright for task lighting, although 1000L would probably do just fine too, closer to what the old 75W bulbs used to be. I would say they are too bright for hallways or rooms that prefer less light. Best use for regular incandescent bulbs 600L or less. I hope that the Philips 2700K BR30 range will be expanded with different light output options, so that they can be combined to provide uniform lighting in public areas as before. in the past. Non-incandescent bulbs have a very conflicting reputation for failure rates and run hours, so it will take several years to figure out how these bulbs perform over the long term. I am not rating effectiveness or durability as I need to quantify them.
