This item may not be suitable for everyone. If you are tall or have longer arms, the small pieces with sleeves only reach the elbow. I returned it for this reason. It's clearly made for a small person. Aside from that if you're a small person it's a cute little thing, soft and pretty and the padding on the sleeves keeps the shawl/shawl in place which I think is nice. If you tried to put it on without putting your hands through things with sleeves, the small sleeves would dangle in a very weird way. The model has sleeves on the wrists in the photo, but in my experience they might not, so duffel sleeves wouldn't make sense for a taller person. I am 5ft 7", the person I would give it to is 5ft 9".
