Review on 500Packs ACKO #7 Coin Money Envelopes For Cash Budgeting, Gift Or Savings - 3 1/2 X 6 1/2 Brown Kraft Flap With Gummed Seal by Craig Walters

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Insides have more glue than the flap!

I ordered these envelopes to replace what I thought were the same exact envelope I used prior. When I got around to using them I discovered these were a thinner version of the ones I used before even though the product title read exactly the same. I may have even used the "buy it again" button. The flap of the envelope is terrible. I wouldn't trust these types of envelopes to hold no matter what, but these will definitely not stay shut. You will need tape to secure them as the glue provided is not enough to keep the flap in place. Also the flap does not have a nice crease to make folding it over easy. The worst part of the envelopes are that they don't open all the way. There is glue inside the envelope for some reason that prevents it from opening up (I tried to show this in the attached picture). I am using them to ship trading cards in plastic top loaders and because of the glue the cards will not fit inside. I have to jam the card inside in hopes the glue separates, but sometimes it will rip the envelope instead. Even if successfully jamming in the card I question the integrity of the envelope.I would say out of 50 envelopes used so far about 15 ripped. They were all glued on the inside though.
