Problem #1: The most common problem mentioned in the reviews is the fan detaching from the clip too easily. Many say it comes loose when the fan is pressed or adjusted. Solution: Before attaching the fan to the clip, apply some CA to all 4 sides of the fan connector where it will insert into the clip. This will prevent them from separating. Problem #2: From the factory, the shaft will not rotate on the clamp. Surprisingly there is nothing in the instructions on what to do. Solution: Before attaching the fan to the clamp, press the clamp with one hand (until it is tight) and with the other hand insert a Phillips screwdriver and loosen the screw inside. After that you can rotate the shaft. Hope that helps. It's a big little fan in every way!
