I have an RV with dual rear wheels and valve expanders. For the rest of my life, I was unable to pump air through extension cords using various types of so-called high-performance tires. I even tried a 50 pound air pump. It was also not possible to fill up at the gas station. Tire shop only. I FINALLY found Viair. It's very expensive, but it's also serious gear and it actually inflates my tires using a handy pro system and a screw chuck that's way better than clipons. You can calculate the filling pressure directly on the hose without ever having to do without a separate pressure gauge. It doesn't vibrate everywhere like most of them. It's relatively quiet here. Okay, it's a bit heavy and won't fit in a cigarette lighter, but it's easy to work with my home batteries. Every person on wheels should have one of these. Serious.
