Review on PandaHall Stainless Stamping Pendants 11X10X0 6Mm by Pam Hansen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for the only use it's made for: identifying jewelry

These tiny hearts aren't really meant for decoration. They are too small for this and will hardly be visible on a bracelet or necklace when removed from the chain. I use them to mark the items I make as my own with my initials and a little leaf so people know they're mine (or I'll know they're mine if they ever take them in for repairs get back). For this limited purpose they are ideal. For something like decorative amulets, you'll need a much larger pendant - at least 25mm or almost an inch, which is still fairly small for such an object. I hang them up with these "snap" connecting rings that are sold as snap rings. They stay in place and I can't imagine them falling off that easily. This means that my goal of identifying my jewelry with it years later will probably be well achieved by these little guys. The stainless steel they are made of is of a good thickness and while the color is nowhere near the silver I use in my pieces, the pendants are so small that the two tones of silver blend beautifully together. Give them five stars because they are perfect for the job they are supposed to do. They won't work for other things like earrings or pendants. But they weren't designed to work in these applications, so I don't think it would be entirely fair to downgrade them for that reason. It's like belittling a honey donut for being a terrible spare part. For this app: Somewhat inexpensive to identify my jewelry, they are great. Other: not great.** I make and sell jewelry. Since I don't sell my jewelry, some people think I'll fix their old jewelry for free. When I explain that I only repair items that I have made myself, several people have tried to tell me that I made this plastic item at a local discount store, even though it is not my material and not my style. I hope this reduces this nonsense. Wish me luck.
