Review on Quandec by Jeff Grindley

The software has helped me to understand how various input parameters of my problem impact output results at different scales/scenarios, which was very helpful as I am new into this field! There is not much that i dislike about quadec so far but sometimes it takes too long time (around 20 minutes) just loading or initializing an existing model before being able use its features such solving scenarios through scenario tree analysis etc.. Have been using QDEC since last 18 months now - solved several problems we were facing with our simulation studies related financial portfolio optimisation issues by running many simulations over multiple configurations within one single day without any prior knowledge!! I like that it's easy to use, and there are many tutorials available online. It is also very intuitive. The fact that it is still being developed by a small team of developers is really nice. There are some things that could be improved, but they're minor issues. I think that this software is great because it allows you to quickly create your own models without having to learn a new programming language. You can easily customize it to fit your needs. It has allowed me to make my work easier and faster.
