YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

I am using this in my pantry to replace a two bulb T-12 fluorescent lamp. While this fixture generally offers a good amount of light, it is poorly designed in terms of installation. The hole in the center of the bracket is not large enough to fit a standard 12 or 14 gauge Romex. I had to enlarge the hole. Also, this hole is not centered like on the old light since the LED strip runs through the center on this light. Not a big problem, but annoying. The mounting holes on either end of this light are sufficient for mounting, but again it's off center due to the LED strip. You won't be able to line up your old drywall holes if you're replacing a traditional fluorescent light bulb, but it's easy enough to install. Some force is required when removing the lens cap for the first time. The instructions say to push it inwards, but I had to use a small flathead screwdriver on one end. It's also a bit difficult to get it back in place. Finally, and perhaps most frustratingly, there are no wire clamps inside the light, and when I finished installing and turned this light on, some of the wiring is visible inside the lens. Not a very good design. I'll find a way to hide these wires somehow. Overall I am not satisfied and will not choose this device again. However, this is still a reasonable value for the price I paid (just under $50).

Cons
