We bought this bassinet based on the good reviews. We were aware of some bad reviews stating the cradles weren't level, but then other reviews got confused that their cradles were level, so we decided to give it a try anyway. It was difficult to put them together (and take them apart to send them back). When we managed to assemble the base, the stand didn't look flat. We made sure it was assembled correctly and it was. I pulled out my spirit level and the surface of the cradle wasn't even remotely level. So we agreed to send it back, and to HALO's credit, the replacement came very quickly. With this device, the leg pieces connect very easily, as it should.
