I'm very busy helping a nearby school (public/low income families) with a Chromebook repair. I've been getting some display issues lately and needed to troubleshoot the device. The best way to separate complete death from screen death is to connect an external display. A monitor with HDMI input has become my troubleshooting tool. The short USB-C to HDMI cable I used forced me to bring them so close together that I couldn't work with the Chromebook. This long cable enables and also allows me to check what it looks like on the screen from the couch. Large 60 inch TV. This is a high quality cable. The cable part and socket are very flexible, thick and last forever. The weak point, the two cable end connectors, was eliminated with high-quality overmoulded connectors. A very good Velcro cable tie is included and prevents the usual "Where's this?" No functional issues (video tearing, pixelation, black screen) were observed whether the cable was plugged in and plugged back in or in rotated in all directions. Well made product.
