Review on AmazonBasics Bakers Rack Wood Chrome by Joshua Sharma

Let's start with the package I received. Looks like the delivery man kicked him all the way here. It was shattered and half of the box was torn. When the box was opened, about half of the black shipping caps were broken. The details themselves didn't seem to bother me much, but they definitely got beaten. and in the wrong places. The zipper that was supposed to hold something in place ripped completely before I even opened the package. He's probably shaking a lot. I like the chrome look and feel in my hands, but the four legs were different lengths. When I screwed the bottom legs all the way down onto all 4 and laid them side by side. They were all different heights (within half an inch of each other, but these are legs, they should have been designed and constructed the same way). So it wasn't possible to align them with ascending marks because even if you were on "4th from the bottom" they would still be half an inch apart. So I pulled out an old tape measure and got to work. Measured, put on the plastic caps and put in the first rack. Low and lo and behold, the plastic slid down along with the stand, and it took several frustrating attempts to get it right. Fast forward, the stand is assembled and I go to place the block of wood on top. This block deforms from here. to the NASA Mars Exploration Program. It swings more than a swing. Not to mention that it doesn't match the poles (possibly due to deformation). I would be afraid to put anything on that piece of wood for fear it might slip and break. I will return this product. Maximum. VERY. disappointed. The photos I am posting with this shipment show 1. What the bottom of the box looked like. I didn't remove any of these plugs - they all got there during shipping. 2. That the wooden board is not level at the top. 3. Broken tie that doesn't even look tight. and 4. Video showing oscillation at near zero pressure.
