Works exactly as described, very easy to install and very durable. If you're curious like me, you can use these for bookshelves. I wasn't sure if they would work when I bought them, questions how would they be strong and sturdy enough to support the weight of the books? But I dared and they are perfect. I had to add dividers to a very long bookshelf in my young daughter's room because every time she put some books away they would tip over and fall off and she couldn't put them back. By getting these dividers we were not only able to sort their books into easy to find sections, but because they were divided into smaller sections, they no longer fall over and it's easy for them to put them away. locked. Even if they are not as wide as the depth of our shelf, they still get the job done. However, note that if you have a very wide shelf like ours, you will need to ensure your books are between dividers which may leave a gap depending on the overall size of the book(s). Overall a great item and I'm actually looking for reasons why I could use them elsewhere in my house. I will buy more if I find additional need for it.
