Tried 2 switches, both failed.
I installed this switch on a '99 Honda Civic with a D16Y7 engine. The switch fits perfectly and looks just like the original, but it only worked half the time and I was still overheating going through traffic lights etc. I sent it back for a new switch and am of the same opinion Encountered issue, this will work about 10% of the time. I wanted to make sure I didn't have any other wiring harness or relay issues, so I tested the switch in 205 degree water. Once activated, continuity would be broken and never stay as it should. I ended up sending it back and ordering a Mishimoto switch which worked great right from the start.
