Review on Spectra Studebaker Turntable Cassette SB6052 by Mohmed Burt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Poor sound quality - the radio does not work.

If you are used to a 'real' turntable connected to a receiver and speakers you will be disappointed. A low quality turntable is a plastic disk smaller than a vinyl record with a plastic shoulder. There are speaker jacks on the back, so the sound could probably be improved with speakers. I don't like that there is no way to adjust the high or low frequencies. Sounds like old portable radios. analog radio tuning; However, it got all the radio stations I needed and we live out of town. There are wire antennas on the back that help. The cassette player is on the side and has a cheap "advance" mechanism but no rewind. The cassette player doesn't even work on the product I received so I basically have an analogue radio with a cheap turntable. Too bad for such a price. I bought this to replace a Crosley which is also poor quality.
